Powergen PLC, Coventry

The firm was engaged to undertake the services for both the Shell and Fit-Out stages of this low-energy 140,000 square foot development for PowerGen plc in Coventry.  The design incorporates the use of natural ventilation in conjunction with an atrium, rather than air-conditioning, to achieve comfort conditions in the heavily-computerised office areas.

This was one of the first successful buildings of this genre, and was extensively written up in the technical press.  It has won several national awards for excellence.
